A sheet processing device 3 for performing a binding process by pressing and deforming a part of a sheet bundle of a plurality of stacked sheets into an uneven shape, includes: crimping blades 101 and 102 engageable with each other for deforming the part of the sheet bundle into the uneven shape; a plurality of oscillating means 204 for oscillating the crimping blades 101 and 102; and control means 61 for controlling oscillation states of the oscillating means 204. The control means 61 sets displacement directions of the plurality of oscillation means 204 in directions crossing one another.
