Abstract:
To provide a sheet folding device which can stably guide one end of a sheet that is applied with folding processing and is switchback-conveyed to a side where the other end of the sheet is located by a guide member.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device B comprises a pressing guide member 30 which is brought into contact with a sheet that is applied with folding processing in a sheet conveyance path 20 and is switchback-conveyed by a nip part 22c, guides one end of the sheet to a side where the other end of the sheet is located in the sheet conveyance path 20, can rotate between a retreat position and a guide position, enters a region between the rotation locus of a first roller surface 22a2 and the rotation locus of a second roller surface 22a3 of a folding roller 22a when rotating from the retreat position to the guide position, and is brought into contact with the sheet at the guide position located outside the region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
