Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device and an image forming apparatus capable of stopping sheet conveyance means at an arbitrary height.SOLUTION: A swing guide 501 which transmits one-directional drive of a paddle-lifting/bundle-pushing motor M252 to a guide lifting cam 514 by means of a one-way gear 512 and supports a dragging paddle 106 is moved to a conveyance position to which the dragging paddle 106 conveys sheet and a standby position of the upper side than the conveyance position. Therein, a rotation speed of the paddle-lifting/bundle-pushing motor M252 is set to such a rotation speed that driving transmission to the guide lifting cam 514 by means of the one-way gear 512 can be maintained even when a force in the same direction as the rotation direction of the guide lifting cam 514 is applied to the guide lifting cam 514 by a load of the swing guide 501 and the dragging paddle 106 when the swing guide 501 is moved.
