Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device that can be operated so as to avoid an obstacle even when the obstacle exists below a sheet loading portion by allowing a stop position at the time when the sheet loading portion is fully loaded with sheets to be changed, and an image forming device.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 119 comprises a processing device control portion 211 that controls a stack tray lifting motor so that a stack tray 128b is moved up and down depending on the number of loaded sheets. The processing device control portion 211, when the stack tray 128b stops at a position different from a lower limit position set by lower limit position setting means, can execute an automatic resetting mode which resets automatically the lower limit position set by the lower limit position setting means, on the basis of lifting position information by an area sensor 129b so that the vicinity of the position where the stack tray stops is set as a new lower limit position.
