Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact sheet processing device in which two bindings of sheet pasting and needle binding can be performed and these are stored in one device frame.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device B includes: a retreat path 47 which is positioned in the upstream side of a stacker part 40 for stacking sheets, branched from a carrying-in path 41, and capable of carrying the sheet carried in the stacker part 40 in the direction opposite to the carrying-in direction; an adhesion unit 50 which is positioned at a merging position of the carrying-in path 41 and the retreat path 47 and pastes the sheet by applying an adhesive; a needle binding unit 240 for binding the sheets stacked in the stacker part 40 with a binding needle; and a folding processing part 80 for folding the sheets bound with them. The retreat path 47 is a path for retreating an applied position of a preceding sheet applied with the adhesion when the next sheet is carried in the stacker part 40, and the needle binding unit 240 is arranged in the stacker part 40 between the adhesion unit 50 and the folding processing part 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
