Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a booklet which uses a small amount of an adhesive while keeping booklet strength to a certain degree, and which is easily opened at the time of use.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device for folding sheets after sticking the sheets together comprises: a stacker part 40 which sequentially accumulates the conveyed sheets; an adhesion unit which sticks the sheets together by applying an adhesive (adhesive tape AT) to the substantial center in the movement direction of each sheet sequentially accumulated in the stacker part; a movement member (stopper part 90) which moves the sheets to the application position of the adhesion unit; and a folding processing part which folds the sheets applied with the adhesive at a folding position Y. When the number of sheets to be stuck together exceeds a prescribed number in a case where the adhesion unit applies the adhesive to the sheets to stick the sheets together, the adhesive is applied to the sheets with separation by an interval S via the folding position Y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
