Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus which reduce a load per unit area to be pressurized, have a small size and have low cost.SOLUTION: A sheet processing apparatus includes: a pressurizing member 55 formed from a plurality of pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c having unevenness that pressurizes a sheet bundle ST; and a receiving tooth 59 that is arranged so as to face the pressurizing member 55, sandwiches the sheet bundle ST, and receives pressurization of the pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c. The pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c are formed on an edge of pressurizing plates 53a, 53b and 53c which reciprocate in a direction crossing a receiving surface of the receiving tooth 59. The pressurizing plates 53a, 53b and 53c have cam follower pins 56a, 56b and 56c fitted to a cam groove 41 of a cylindrical cam 40, are moved by rotation of the cylindrical cam 40, sandwich the sheet bundle ST with the pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c from a direction crossing the receiving surface of the receiving tooth 59, and sequentially pressurizes the receiving tooth 59.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
