Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device which can reduce time for conveying sheets when folding stacked multiple sheets by circulation conveyance.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device has discharging conveyance means of performing discharging conveyance of conveying carried-in sheets to the downstream of first conveyance means and discharging the same, circulating conveyance means of performing circulation conveyance of circulating the sheets to the upstream of the first conveyance means, and folding and conveyance means of performing folding and conveyance for forming a fold while conveying the sheets in the downstream of the first conveyance means. The folding and conveyance means, when the sheets corresponding to the maximum limit folding number in the folding and conveyance means are carried into the first conveyance means, performs the folding and conveyance on sheet bundles of the maximum limit folding number, even without receiving a folding instruction from outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
