To provide a sheet processing device improved in productivity.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 100, which tucks a sheet-like medium P into superposed sheets S in which two sheets are superposed on each other and portions thereof are joined to each other, comprises: first loading means 102 on which the sheets S are loaded; second loading means 103 on which the sheet-like medium P is loaded; peeling means 109 that peels the sheets S; and detecting means that detects that an operation of peeling the sheets S is completed, which stops conveyance of the sheet-like medium P after the sheet-like medium P is fed, and resumes the conveyance of the sheet-like medium P after the detecting means detects that the operation of peeling is finished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 23
