PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align a center of a sheet bundle and a center of binding.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a binding part for binding a sheet bundle; a sheet bundle loading part for loading the sheet bundle to be bound; and an operation control part for controlling an operation so as to a center of a sheet bundle in a thickness direction of the loaded sheet, and a position of a center of a binding in the thickness direction in the binding part are aligned in the thickness direction. The operation control part controls the operation so that the center of the sheet bundle and the center of binding are aligned in the thickness direction by at least one of the binding part and the sheet bundle loading part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
