Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device capable of bookbinding by center-folding sheets without enlarging a device.SOLUTION: A finisher comprises: a storage guide 803 for storing sheets; conveying means for conveying the sheets from a predetermined conveyance path to the storage guide 803; a positioning member 861 which abuts on a front end of the sheet conveyed to the storage guide 803; and folding means for folding the sheet. Abutment part moving means, when an HS sheet Sa1 is conveyed from the predetermined conveyance path, moves the positioning member 861 to an HS position Pa1. The abutment part moving means, when an LS sheet Sa2 whose length in the conveyance direction is longer than the HS sheet Sa1 is conveyed from the predetermined conveyance path, moves the positioning member 861 to an LS position Pa2 on the downstream in the conveyance direction with respect to the HS position Pa1. The folding means folds the LS sheet Sa2 after the conveyance of the HS sheet Sa1 and the LS sheet Sa2 to the storage guide 803 is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
