Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing machine inhibiting slippage between sheet and braking member in deceleration of the sheet.
The sheet processing machine contains a conveyor 3.5 feeding processed sheet at throughput speed and then releasing it to brake down to a stacking speed, a suction roller 3.46 being the braking member for braking the released sheet, a drive mechanism 3.19, and a driving joint between the drive mechanism 3.19 and the suction roller 3.46. For preventing slippage between sheet and the suction roller 3.46 during sheet braking, the driving joint is provided with an overrunning clutch 3.17" and a braking section 3.22" for decelerating the suction roller 3.46.
