Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the preparation process applying printing to a processed sheet especially in the case of the processing and printing of a sheet composed of paper.
SOLUTION: A moving sheet 3 is processed by coating and/or calendering finish and continuously printed without being subjected to intermediate taking-up. By this method, the smoothness of the sheet is not lost before printing. In the apparatus executing this method, a processing device 4 processing the paper sheet 3 is provided to the front stage of the inlet 7 of a printing press 8 and the passing speed of the paper sheet is fitted to the speed of the printing press. By this constitution, since the processing device 4 can be operated at a low speed, the processing effect thereof is enhanced.
