To provide a sheet processor capable of preventing a bundle of sheets from being collapsed and consistently transporting the bundle of sheets.
The sheet processor comprises a conveyor 12 to transport and carry out a bundle T to be discharged from stacking/bundling devices 9a-9d, a buffer 21 to receive the bundle T carried out from the conveyor 12, a pusher 27 to push out the bundle T from the buffer 21, an elevating/lowering mechanism 28 which receives the bundle T fed out of the buffer 21 by the pusher 27 by a lifter 13, and elevates/lowers the lifter 13, a control device to stop the lifter 13 which is elevated to a predetermined position by the elevating/lowering mechanism 28, an ejector to discharge the bundle in an upright condition by turning and erecting the lifter 13 stopped by the control device, and a bundle stacking unit to stack the bundle T discharged by the ejector in an upright condition.
