PURPOSE: To miniaturize the title sheet processor itself and to achieve improvement in productive efficiency of sheet processing by a method wherein a sheet storing means formed in a plurality of stages is made to advance step by step, is transferred to a position of an after treatment means, and after treatment is executed at the transferred position.
CONSTITUTION: A duplicating machine 1 is principally composed of an optical part 3, an image forming part 5, a paper feed part 6, a control part 7, a copy carrying part 9, and an after treatment part 11. The copy carrying part 9 is composed of a multi staged copy feed part 49 and a copy turning over part 52 and further the multistage ADF 49 is composed of a multistaged unit 50 equipped with a pin for copy 57 and a copy carrying part 51. The multi staged unit 50 sends individually the copy stored in each stage pin to the copy carrying unit 51, and the copy carrying unit 51 carries the copy sent from each pin onto a contact glass 17 with a carrying belt 53. After exposure, it carries the copy to a copy ejection 55 side or to the after treatment part 11 side. Thus, a sheet storing means formed in a plurality of stages is made to advance step by step, is transferred to a position of the after treatment means, and after treatment of the sheet is automatically carried out.
