PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet punching device capable of reducing sheet conveyance failures by smoothly conveying a sheet onto a placing table when punching the sheet on the placing table.SOLUTION: A sheet punching device includes: a placing table 53 on which a sheet to be conveyed is placed; a punching member 60 which punches the sheet placed on the placing table 53; a punching moving member 66 which moves to a punching position where the punching member 60 punches the sheet, and to a retreat position to which the punching member 60 retreats from the punching position; a sheet pressing member 54 which can slide along the punching member 60, moves by interlocking with the movement of the punching member, and presses the sheet; a driving member 70 which drives the punching moving member 66; and control means 123 which controls the driving member 70. The control means 123 makes the sheet pressing member 54 move to a guide position which is a position according to the thickness of the sheet, and at which the sheet is guided to be conveyed onto the placing table 53, to a pressing position where the sheet on the placing table is pressed, and to a separate position separated from the sheet being ejected from the placing table.
