Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet punching device capable of reducing sheet conveyance failures by smoothly conveying a sheet onto a placing table when punching the sheet on the placing table.SOLUTION: A sheet punching device includes: a punching member 80 which punches a sheet; a punching driving member 70 which drives the punching member 80; a sheet pressing member 60 which moves to a pressing position where the sheet to be punched on a placing table is pressed, and to a guide position at which the sheet is guided onto the placing table, and to a separate position where the sheet is ejected from the placing table; a pressing driving member 70 which drives the sheet pressing member 60; and control means 123 which controls them. The control means 123 controls the pressing driving member 70 to make the sheet pressing member move from the guide position of the sheet pressing member to a position according to the thickness of the sheet to be conveyed on the placing table on the basis of the thickness information of the sheet.
