A frame 20 for the back comprises a frame panel 210 and a side frame material 220 placed in such a way that the front end edge is situated in the forward direction separated by a predetermined interval for each side portion of the frame panel 210 and has a structure that a cushion member 40 comprising a net material of a three-dimensional structure is placed in a stretching manner in a frame 20 for the back by protruding both the side parts ahead of an approximately central portion at a part at least corresponding to the thoracic vertebrae to a lumber vertebra. Therefore, at the time of the seating, the side portion of the cushion member 40 greatly projects to the forward direction and the holding property of the back can be improved while much the same size as in the case where the cushion member is formed of a conventional urethane foam and it is possible to attempt to improve riding quality by controlling vibration in right and left directions.
