Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-shaped heat pipe capable of exerting a sufficiency heat transport capacity without expanding and deforming a main body under a low temperature regardless of its posture.SOLUTION: One side of a container 15 filled with a working fluid is occupied by a steam passage 20 and a wick 22 formed on an inner face of a first sheet body 11. The other side of the container 15 is occupied by a capillary structure of non-woven fabric 40 by utilizing a recessed portion 50 formed on an inner face of a second sheet body 12. Thus concentration of the working fluid on a specified portion can be prevented by the non-woven fabric 40, and the working fluid can be entirely dispersed at one side of the container 15, thus local deformation of the main body in accompany with expansion of the working fluid under a low temperature can be prevented. Further by combining the wick 22 and the non-woven fabric 40, heat can be properly diffused to a wide region of the main body 2, and excellent capillary force can be exerted as SHP1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
