Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive sheet stacker of much stacking quantity and excellent stack quality without requiring any large motor.
SOLUTION: A sheet P which is ejected from an ejecting roller (a sheet discharging means) 7 when performing the stapling (the post-treatment) is received by a jogger and a sheet support 46 of a sheet supporting means 40. The stapling is performed by bringing a return roller 21 into contact with the sheet, and returning the sheet to the post-treatment position, and adjusting the sheet by a sheet push-out means 35. Then, the sheet is pushed out by the sheet push-out means 35, placed on the sheet support, the sheet supporting means formed of a pantograph mechanism is lowered, an advancing/retracting support holder 54 is turned to retreat the sheet support 46, and the sheet bundle P is delivered to an ejecting tray 6.
