Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sheet stacking device and a sheet inspecting device by detecting whether a sheet sticks to the lower surface of a separator or not so as to completely divide sheets into a plurality of groups each having a specified number of sheets.
CONSTITUTION: A ticket stacking device 24 has a stacking device body 42 which incorporates a separator 44 for dividing clear tickets 14a conveyed by a conveying device 18 into a plurality of groups each having 100 sheets and for stacking the sheets in each group of the sheets, a drive part 46 for turning the separator 44 between a stand-by position A and a dividing position B, a back-up 48 for shifting a group of 100 stacked clear tickets 14a into a ticket bundling device, and a detecting mechanism 50 for detecting whether the 100 clear tickets are completely shifted into the ticket bundling device or not. The detecting mechanism 50 comprises a reflector 50a provided at the lower surface of the front end part of the separator 44, and a photosensor 50b for directing a light beam onto the reflector 50a and for detecting reflected light therefrom.
