Abstract:
To provide a sheet storage device which can surely store a sheet in a storage section regardless of the state of the sheet, and a printing device having the sheet storage device.SOLUTION: A sheet storage device includes: a storage section storing a sheet discharged from a discharge port with the use of a flexible sheet-like receptor; and a flapper which takes a first state of supporting a tip of the sheet moving down by its weight from the discharge port due to the discharge and a second state of not supporting the tip of the sheet, where when the flapper is in the first state and a storage space of the storage section is below the flapper, the sheet discharged from the discharge port is configured so that a subsequent portion of the sheet is hung down in a loop shape in the storage space while the tip is supported by the flapper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
