Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet storage apparatus capable of reducing an adhesion amount of dust or the like on stored sheets.SOLUTION: The sheet storage apparatus according to the present invention has a storage unit in which a plurality of sheets are stored in an internal space while arranged with a gap in the thickness direction of the sheets, and a conveying unit for executing taking-out operation which takes out a sheet stored in the storage unit. In the taking-out operation, the conveying unit moves the sheet held by the holding unit along the plane of the maximum surface, thereby taking out the sheet from the storage unit. The storage unit includes: a first opening formed at the side through which the holding unit and the sheet pass at the time of the taking-out operation; a second opening formed to face the first opening with the sheet interposed therebetween; and air blowing unit which flows a gas to the internal space of the storage unit from either the first opening or the second opening toward the other direction respectively. The air blowing unit has a charge removing portion for neutralizing the gas to form a charge removed gas and flows the charge removed gas into the internal space of the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
