Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet support device capable of stably detecting a sheet with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A swing member (308), which is pressed by a sheet supported by a sheet support surface (2a) of a tray to swing, is disposed at a movable tray (302) which is movable relative to a device body (200B). Detection means (221) capable of detecting a position of the swing member (308) is disposed at an inner side of the device body (200B). The detection means (221) detects the position of the swing member (308) to determine whether or not the sheet supported by the sheet support surface (2a) exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
