Abstract:
To avoid interference between a lock lever and a side guide while suppressing increase of a dimension in an upward-downward direction of a whole device.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device includes: a supply tray 12 for placing a sheet SH; a device body for supporting the supply tray 12; a side guide 17 contactable to front and rear end portions of the sheet SH placed on the supply tray 12, that is movably supported by the supply tray 12 in a front and rear direction; an opening/closing cover 32 for covering a conveyance path P1, that is provided turnably to the device body; and a lock lever 71 for locking the opening/closing cover 32 at the device body, that is provided at a position overlapped with the side guide 17 in an upward-downward direction. The lock lever 71 is turnably constituted between a rock position where the opening/closing cover 32 is locked at the device body and a release position where it is released that the opening/closing cover 32 is locked at the device body. The side guide 17 comprises a notch part 17a opposed to a rotation locus of the lock lever 71 via a gap t1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
