To provide an automatic sheet packaging system for packaging sheet bundles without the need for manpower, and to provide a sheet transfer and stacking device to be suitably used for the same.

The automatic sheet packaging system comprises a guard ball separating part for separating a guard ball from the sheet bundles depending on a packaged form, a sheet bundle supply part for supplying the sheet bundles to the guard ball separating part, a tape fixing part for fixing the sheet bundles at their side edges passing through the guard ball separating part with a tape depending on the packaged form, and a transfer and stacking part for transferring and stacking the sheet bundles passing through the tape fixing part to a skid. The sheet transfer and stacking device is used for the same.
