Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation device capable of continuously informing about a fact that a sheet remains in a tray until the sheet is removed, without adding a new sensor.SOLUTION: A transportation control part (401) makes a transportation part(410) deliver a sheet which is before the last one in terms of transportation sequence, in a specified sheet group, from an inversion opening (44) to an inversion tray (47), and makes the transportation part(410) transport the last sheet (701) to a position where a tip end part (703) thereof protrudes from the inversion opening. A determination part (402) determines whether delivery from the inversion opening has succeeded or not for a sheet whose transportation sequence is other than last, from an output of a discharge sensor (ES), and for the last sheet, the determination part (402) determines whether the sheet has stopped at the inversion opening, and further, the sheet has been pulled out therefrom. A notification part (402) starts displaying (711, 712) [a sheet remains in an inversion tray], and erases the display when the sheet is pulled out of the inversion opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
