Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet inverting device that can invert a sheet without using air, save space, save energy, and reduce burden on an operator.SOLUTION: A sheet inverting device comprises: a pre-inversion double drum 21 (first conveyance part) that has a gripper (first holding device) for holding the leading end part of a sheet and conveys the sheet; and a printing drum 22 (second conveyance part) that has a gripper (second holding device) for holding the leading end part of a sheet and conveys the sheet. The sheet inverting device further comprises a swing arm 44 (third conveyance part) that has a gripper 55 (third holding device) for holding an end part of a sheet and transfers, as the leading end part, the trailing end part of the sheet, held by the pre-inversion double drum 21, to the gripper of the printing drum 22. The sheet inverting device further comprises a roller 89 (sheet pressing member) that moves in a direction D1 intersecting a direction D2 in which the swing arm 44 swings when the gripper 55 receives a sheet from the pre-inversion double drum 21 and that reciprocates between the pressing position in which a sheet is pressed against the pre-inversion double drum 21 and the guide position in which the sheet 4 is guided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
