To provide a shelf body where a height of shelf plates can be adjusted easily.

The shelf body comprises: a plurality of supports 2 extending in a height direction; and the shelf plates 3 and 4 mounted to the supports 2. Each support 2 is composed of an upper support 21 and a lower support 22 respectively divided into two in the height direction. The upper support 21 and the lower support 22 are connected by a connecting mechanism 5 where the upper support 21 is engaged with the lower support 22 movably in a vertical direction by the rotation of the upper support 21. The shelf plates 3 and 4 are mounted to the upper support 21 while the remining support 21 is rotatable by rotate of one support 21 in two or more supports. A linking mechanism 6 where rotation of one of the plurality of upper supports 21 links and rotates the other upper supports 21 to move all the upper supports 21 in the same direction of upward or downward.
