To provide a shelf device capable of diversifying the method of access to stored articles and the mode of storage of the articles by utilizing small shelves, and capable of improving convenience in using the shelf device combined with a desk; and combination furniture of the shelf device and the desk.
A plurality of horizonal panels 2, 3 and 4 are supported by a rear panel 5 fixed to the rear ends of the panels and a pair of right and left front supports 6 and 6 fixed to both sides at the front end, so that a shelf body 7 is opened both in the front and in either side. A small shelf 13 including a pair of right and left side panels 10 and 10, a back panel 11 connecting the rear ends of the side panels and a horizontal panel 12 laid between the right and left side panels 10 and 10 can be mounted on any horizontal panel of the shelf body with the opening 13a of the small shelf directed either in the front or sideways.
