A stopper 12 is provided at the center of both side lower ends of the shelf 9 longitudinally movably mounted along the guide rails 8 installed at both sidewalls of the inner panel 7 of the refrigerator. When the shelf is moved forward, the stopper 12 is brought into contact with the forward beads 10 of the rails 8 to limit the movement of the shelf, the when the shelf is moved rearward, the stopper is brought into contact with the beads 11 at the rear of the rails to limit the movement of the shelf.
