Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING-CRITICAL-CURRENT MEASURING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3180856
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a superconducting-critical-current measuring apparatus wherein, when the critical current of a superconductor at a very low temperature is measured, the critical current can be measured with good efficiency by eliminating troublesome problems in handling liquefied gas.
CONSTITUTION: A test piece which is made of a superconductor and current leads 7 which are made of an oxide superconductor are connected thermally, via a highly heat-conductive and goodinsulator ceramic, to a metal cooling stage for a GM refrigerator 1 which has been sealed hermetically with a vacuum container 4 and a heat-radiant shield plate 5 or for other general refrigerators. Alternatively, a cooling stage itself is constituted of a ceramic, and it is used as a thermal anchor.
