Abstract:
To provide a shelf capable of illuminating in good appearance goods on a shelf body by a compact lighting device with low power consumption.
The shelf body 10 of a shelf 1 functions as a light guide plate to transmit light. A lighting device 20 is provided with a frame 22 which is installed detachably on the rear end part 11 of the shelf body 10 and an LED array 24 which is installed on the frame 22 and faces the rear end face 11a of the shelf body 10. As the LED array 24 emits light and the light is guided inside the shelf body 10 and diffused upward from a light diffusion part 14 on the surface 12 of the shelf body 10. Thereby, the goods on the shelf body 10 is illuminated. The light diffusion part 14 can be formed by a silk printing.
