PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shelves with an air cleaning function which can efficiently and uniformly diffuse cleaned air from the lower parts to the upper parts of a shelf main body and decrease consumed energy as much as possible with a simple structure.
SOLUTION: An air cleaning means 3 and a cleaned air retaining chamber 4 are disposed on the top plate 7 of a shelf main body 1 provided with a plurality of stages of housing shelf parts 2. The upper end opening of each support 5 of the shelf main body 1 faces the cleaned air retaining chamber 4 so as to supply cleaned air from the upper ends of the supports 5 to the lower ends thereof. Position adjusting holes 8 are closed by closing members 10 with one or two shelf board height adjusting holes 8 of the housing shelf parts 2 of each stage. Thus, the opened shelf boad height adjusting holes 8 are used as cleaned air supply holes to uniformly supply the cleaned air to the housing shelf parts 2 of each stage.
