PURPOSE: To easily shift a vehicle to be washed, onto or from a frame and to enable an operater to easily ride onto and alight from the frame by holding a scattered sludge protecting cover attached to an outer side part of the frame in an inclined posture in which the cover is inclined inward or outward of the frame, so as to prevent sludge from scattering.
CONSTITUTION: A movable frame 24 is arranged so that a roller 23 is engaged with a guide rail 22 fixed to the outside of a crosswise frame member 2a of a frame 2, and a support column 12 for supporting an outside rail 4 is planted on the longitudinally intermediate part thereof. Further, a scatter preventing cover is attached to the outer end part of a movable frame 24. This scatter preventing cover is composed of a frame attached and supported to the movable frame 24 and a see-through member attached to the frame. Further, the frame is composed of a lower frame member 27 planted on the movable frame 24 and an upper frame member 29 journalled to the upper end thereof so as to be rotatable inward and outward. Further, when a vehicle 1 to be washed, is shifted onto or from the frame 2, the upper frame member 29 is inclined outward so as to widen the space above the frame 2.
