PURPOSE: To obtain an inductance element with excellent shielding effect easily and economically by a method wherein, when the inductance element is composed by winding a coil around a ferrite core, the outside circumference of the element is covered by a covering material composed of a soft-magnetic powder and a heat shrinkable material mixed with it.
CONSTITUTION: The outside circumference of an inductance element, which is composed by winding a coil 3 around a ferrite core 1, is covered tightly by a tube 4, which is formed of the mixed material composed of soft-magnetic powder and synthetic resin. Or, after being covered with the tube 4, which is formed of the mixed material composed of soft-magnetic powder and synthetic resin, the element is covered with a heat-shrinkable tube 5. Moreover, a taping material 6, which is formed of the mixed material composed of soft-magnetic powder and synthetic resin, or another taping material, which is formed in such a manner that an adhesive layer 7 is provided to the inside surface of a belt-type soft- magnetic material in a unitary body with it and its outside surface is covered with a tape base material 5, can also be used. With this constitution, high shielding effect is obtained.
