Abstract:
To provide a shielded connector inexpensive and excellent in waterproof, and a manufacturing method for it.
In this shielded connector, tin or solder included in a synthetic resin composing a housing 21 adheres to a metallic flange 22 in fused condition, and waterproof between the metallic flange 22 and the housing 1 is thereby secured. Furthermore, since a process to apply a hot melt adhesive is not required as in the past, no additional manufacturing cost is required. Since the housing 21 is composed of a conductive synthetic resin, the entire housing 21 has also a roll of a shield member to cover the terminal of a shield cable 10, and the number of components can be thereby cut down.
