Abstract:
To provide a shielded space forming device in which various devices for accommodating a patient's head neck region and shielding it from a surrounding environment for infection prevention purpose is put in a practical use, however most of them are placed on a bed where the patient lies, and when the width of the bed is narrow and in the movement, the device may be derailed depending on a shape of an installation surface, and also the disinfection processing of non-replacement members of the device is necessary at each use.SOLUTION: A shielded space forming device of the present invention is provided in which a frame is held in any position of a subject's upper part at any angle by using an articulated arm inserted in a hole for a drip strut included in a medical bed, and the subject is covered by a sheet material attached to the frame in the shape of canopy, and thereby a shielded space separated from the surrounding environment is formed. The sheet material is similarly fastened to the frame by an annular band being a replacement member, however the frame being not exposed to a subject side is not required of the disinfection processing after the use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
