Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to improve the activity of shift reaction.
SOLUTION: The shift catalyst is manufactured in steps of: first mixing TiO2 with an additive oxide containing at least one of CeO2 and WO3 (S100); adding a binder to the obtained mixture powder to produce a slurry (S110); coating a specified catalyst base body with the produced slurry (S120); drying and calcining (S130); further depositing platinum on the surface (S140); and drying and calcining (S150) to obtain the shift catalyst. The catalytic performance can be improved by depositing platinum on the TiO2 containing the additive oxide.
