Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of acceleration unexpected by a driver or an unnatural feeling in sounds while enabling an active operation enjoying acceleration to be performed utilizing blipping.SOLUTION: A crew member operates a switch S11 to select, as shift characteristics, a normal mode or a sport mode having a shift characteristic line more on a high vehicle speed side than the normal mode. A controller U performs shift control on the basis of the shift characteristics selected by the crew member, and also performs blipping to temporarily increase an engine speed during shift-down accompanying braking operation. The controller U normally executes the blipping when the sport mode is selected, and on the other hand, executes it when the normal mode is selected, on condition that winding road travel is detected or aggressive travel is detected, or on condition that both travels are detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
