Abstract:
To provide a shift controller of an automatic transmission capable of attaining both simplification of a structure and improvement in shift operation.SOLUTION: A shift controller 1 of an automatic transmission 2 comprises an automatic shift mode in which gears are automatically switched according to a travel condition, and a manual shift mode in which gears are switched by the operation of a shift switch 40 from an occupant in a state where a shift device 30 is held at an automatic shift mode selection position, and can execute the automatic shift mode and the manual shift mode. A manual shift mode has an M1 mode to an M3 mode that set a gear in different manners by the operation of the shift switch 40. The shift controller comprises an operation control unit 14 that returns the M1 mode to the M3 mode to the automatic shift mode by the same operation of the shift switch 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
