Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a shift shock from increasing, by forbidding operation of a sub-transmission in time of gear shifting during which the whole shift step varies as many as odd-numbered steps of more than three steps. CONSTITUTION:A shift step number detecting device 92 is connected to a calculating device 90 for indicating shift steps, and output out of the detecting device 92 is inputted into a forbidding device 100 installed in a solenoid 94 of a sub- transmission 18. And, in time of gear shifting during which the whole shift step varies as many as odd-numbered steps of more than three steps, shifting operation of the sub-transmission is forbidden, and only the shifting operation of a main transmission 16 is carried out. With this constitution, a time lag between the shifting operation of the main transmission 16 and that of the sub-transmission 18 is brought to nothing so that a shift shock is preventable from increasing.
