Abstract:
To provide a shift device, which is configured so that accuracy in detecting a shift position of a shift body is enhanced.SOLUTION: A shift device 10 is configured so that a lever 18 is turned and a magnet 22 is rotated. A magnetic sensor 26 detects, on a detection surface 26A, a magnetic field generated by the magnet 22, so that a rotational position of the magnet 22 is detected. When the lever 18 is arranged at 'D' position, a left parallel face 22B of the magnet 22 is opposed in parallel to the detection surface 26A. This can suppress variation in magnetic fields generated by the magnet 22 on the detection surface 26A, enhance accuracy in detecting the rotation position of the magnet 22 by the magnetic sensor 26 and enhance accuracy in detecting the 'D' position of the lever 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
