Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a shift body in a rotation diameter direction.SOLUTION: In a shift device, when a release button 32 of a knob 22 is not operated, a rotation of a rod 38 of the knob 22 is restricted by a lock wall 14B of a plate 12, to restrict a rotation of the knob 22. To the contrary, when the release button 32 is operated to move the rod 38 upward, the rod 38 passes above the lock wall 14B to release the rotational restriction of the knob 22. Thus, the operation of the release button 32 moves the rod 38 to a rotation shaft direction of the knob 22. Thereby, the knob 22 can be downsized in a rotation diameter direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
