To provide a shift driving device capable of achieving a smaller size and a lower cost by reducing a load to be generated in a transmission in a synchronous state.
When the other end of an internal lever arrives at a synchronous position corresponding to an output gear for outputting a third speed (YES in Step S16), a control part 88 stops the rotation of an electric motor (Step S17). Then, the rotation of the electric motor is stopped for a predetermined temporary stopping period (for example, about 200 msec), as it remains in the stopped state (Step S18). After the predetermined temporary stopping time (for example, about 200 (msec)) passes from stopping the rotation of the electric motor (Yes in Step S18), the control part restarts the rotation of the electric motor (Step S19).
