In a shift lever device, bushes comprises a first bush and a second bush. An inner circumferential surface and an outer circumferential surface of the first bush are fitted to a shaft part and a cylindrical part, respectively, in a relatively immovable manner. An inner circumferential surface of the second bush is fitted to a shaft part in a relatively immovable manner, and an outer circumferential surface thereof is abutted on a cylindrical part in a relatively movable manner. A space part to permit the slide of the second bush is formed on the cylindrical part when a knob side lever is pressed against the cylindrical part to slide in the direction of the transmission side lever.
