Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device having a built-in mechanism which adjusts a position of an operation end of a shift lever according to preference of an operator.SOLUTION: A shift lever device 1 enables shift operation when an operator holds a steering 101 of a vehicle and includes: a base 12; a case 13; a shift lever 11; and an adjusting mechanism 14. The base 12 is fixed to a column 103 enclosing an end part of a shaft 102 to which the steering 101 is attached. The case 13 is guided along the base 12 and may move in a direction that intersects with an axis A of the shaft 102. The shift lever 11 is swingably connected to the case 13. The adjusting mechanism 14 is incorporated into the base 12 and adjusts a position of the shift lever 11 by moving the case 13 in the direction that intersects with the axis A of the shaft 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
