Abstract:
To provide a shift lever device that can minimize a rattling feeling given to a user due to influences such as dimensional tolerance of components including a shaft and a knob.SOLUTION: A shift lever device 10 comprises: a knob 20 comprising a part 24 to be inserted which a shaft body can be inserted into; a shaft 30 comprising an insertion part 32 that is inserted into the part 24 to be inserted; a restricting part 60 that restricts movement of the knob 20 in an axial direction of the shaft 30 with the insertion part 32 inserted into the part 24 to be inserted; and an elastic part 70 that makes elastic force in the axial direction of the shaft 30 act on the knob 20. In the shift lever device 10, the elastic part 70 develops elastic force in a direction in which a clearance formed between the knob 20 and the shaft 30 is reduced in the axial direction, with the insertion part 32 inserted into the part 24 to be inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
