Abstract:
To stabilize behavior of a push rod, during operation of pushing-in a button.SOLUTION: A shift lever 1 comprises a lever main body 2 and a shift knob 4. The lever main body 2 comprises a lever shaft 10 and a push rod 12 arranged inside the lever shaft. The shift knob 4 comprises: a lock release button 20 whose rear side receives push-in operation; a holder member 30 that holds the button 20; and a slider 40 (a converting member) that converts a motion in a direction of operation of pushing-in the button 20 to a motion of the push rod 12. The slider 40 comprises a contact surface 48a with which an upper end part 12a of the push rod 12 comes into contact. The contact surface 48a is formed of an inclined surface that is inclined with respect to a surface that is orthogonal to the push rod 12 so that the push rod 12 is pressed toward a constant direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
