Abstract:
To provide a shift lock mechanism of a vehicle in which snagging prevention of a lock member is compatible with absorption of structural dispersion and improvement of working speed of the lock member is compatible with the absorption of structural dispersion.SOLUTION: A shift lock mechanism 20 of a vehicle comprises: a member 35 to be locked which is arranged at a select lever 22 selecting a shift gear of an automatic transmission; engagement parts 36, 37 which are arranged in the member to be locked at positions corresponding to the shift gear; a lock member 42 which is arranged facing the member to be locked and can be engaged/disengaged with the engagement part; an inclination part which is formed at an edge of the lock member; a drive unit 40 which drives the select lever between a lock state and a movable state; a buffer member which is compressed when the lock member is retracted and energizes the lock member toward the member to be locked; and a control unit 11 which controls the drive unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
